cadman
I buy my eyes from there as well. I have yet to find any other place where the eyes stick as good as from WTP. It is cheaper to buy from them direct.
mark poulson
I agree, those are the best. I wish they'd make a solid black eye. The ones I've found for my hard baits I have to glue on, or top coat with epoxy or resin.
smalljaw
I use WTP as well but they are expensive but well worth it. I purchased 3000 3D eyes from an ebay seller and they were the cheap imported type, they were ok but in order to put them on I had to take super glue and put a tiny drop on each eye socket in order for them to hold. When you are doing a lot of baits it take a lot of extra time. The glue was required because without it the eyes would either fall off on their own or they would move when clear coating, WTP eye stick extremely well and they eye is made perfect, there are no differences like the cheap ones sometimes get. If you want to know how good the adhesive is on a WTP eye, I made a spinnerbait and added the eyes with no clear coat of glue just to see how long they would stay on, and I had the bait for over a year and the eyes never came off, I got hung up and broke it off. so WTP, expensive, yes, but nothing comes close to the quality.
cadman
I have had the same experience as smalljaw, in regards to WTP eyes being left on over a year without clear-coating. The eyes never come off after that long of a time. Edited February 9, 2015 by cadman

It might be dull, but if you clear coat it, it will gloss over.
JLS
Thanks for all the replies and I can see myself going with those eyes in the future . As for now though , I have some help that likes to get the paint on a little thick (working on that) and he needs the glue to help level the eye socket . We'll dump the glue and go with the better eyes , just as soon as he figures out how to paint but until then we'll stick with getting them from Barlow's . Thanks again !!
