I make musky lures and have poured bass jigs and river weights but thats it. I bought everything to start making some plastics and now want to to know is there anyway I can add a scent to the plastic AFTER they have been poured. My worms are salt impregnated. They have color and glitter in them already. Can they be soaked in anything and absorb that scent or is it not worth attempting. Is there anyway to do this? Jig Man Posted February 16, 2015 Report Share Posted February 16, 2015 I use scent in the mold much of the time and then I add scent to bags before putting the baits in them. FATFLATTIE Posted February 16, 2015 Report Share Posted February 16, 2015 I do just like jigman. I just put the scent in the bag with the baits. They really soak that stuff up. After i get the lures im doing done, i use a sandwich bag and put about 4-6 squirts of my attractant in the bag first, then i add the lures then i make sure that all lures are covered by massaging them in the bag and not sticking together. Correct me if I am wrong but here is what I will do. 1) Place unscented worms in ziplock bag 2) Add 3 to 6 squirts of my scent 3) Wait for aprox 3 days Is 3 days appropriate?
