Mike and Mike
Me and my Son have just started airbrushing lures. It start as a school project, with a bream color crankbait. We wanted to do a Chartreuse shad from strike king on a jerkbait. But I not sure of the colors, I think the base is pearl white, but not sure about the blue hue. Any help would be great, we are trying the wicked color airbrush paints. Also would like to download the bream color crankbait, to get opinions if it looks ok. Thanks for any info. DaBehr
There are lots of good videos on the internet. I learned a lot from the videos from Dakota Lakes Tackle and the information on his website. For a beginner... his book is very helpful. I always start my paint jobs with a base of opaque white.

Mike and Mike
Thanks, I have some jerkbait bodies coming this week, and was going to order some more paint. We was thinking maybe purple iridescent. I tried some transparent Caribbean blue on some old plugs with a pearl base, but it didn't look right. The spotted bass in my area really likes the chartreuse shad color. but all I have in the color is the red eye shad, and I was hoping to paint us a jerkbait or a 1.5 for this spring. Still waiting on epoxy to come so we can clear coat the bream crankbait. Maybe by the weekend. Thanks again.
