pieterbez
Have any of you guys and gals used the Basstackle 302 Frog. Looking for a frog like Zoom's Horny Toad. Just hate the Horny toad due to it always landing upside down. Does the 302 Frog land right side up or have the same problem as the Horny Toad
FATFLATTIE
Don't waste your time with that frog. Buddy of mine got it and it is very small and doesn't weigh much. Look at the Enforcer frog. Much, much better.
mark poulson
I use a hook with a deeper bite to put more of a keel on my soft frogs, so they turn belly down when they land. It's a fine line between a hook that's heavy enough to right the bait and still let's me retrieve it relatively slowly. I use a hook with no weight on it's belly. I like the Owner Beast hook with the screw lock keeper. Edited March 4, 2015 by mark poulson

Bassinfool
I've never had a problem throwing this frog even on 50 pound braid. Throw a heavy wire 4/0 hook in it and let her rip. Got mine just before spring last year and caught fish on them all year long.

camrynekai
Has any one tried using some salt in the belly half? or will it take away to much of its buoyancy? Hmmmm maybe a frog with a salted bottom and floater bubbles in the top half....might be killer.
Bassinfool
I throw all my soft body frogs with superline 4/0 hooks so they've always got a little weight to them just due to the nature of the heavy wire hook. I haven't really had any problems with it rolling over on me so it's not a big concern.
