scrubs
Ok, in my surfing the net for lures for Jacks, Ladyfish and Roosters I came across a site that talked about removing the lips from floating Rapalas for Jacks. Anybody ever tried this? I'm thinking of KO's. bill
jonister
I had a rapala stickbait that the lip fell out of. it ran like a topwater i guess. took me a few casts to realize what had happened . i only caught bull frogs on it.
mark poulson
I'm sure a floating bait with a lip removed would work as a twitch bait, but it isn't weighted like a top water walking bait, so your retrieves might be kind of limited. I have shortened and heated the lip on a floating jerk bait, and turned it down so the bait wakes. That works, too.
