mark poulson
Adding glitter will change the color of you plastic, so do a small test batch before you mix up a bunch, so you can learn without wasting too much plastic.

Bassinfool
I use the small glitter in a lot of my bass baits, even the very large ones. They make really good accent colors to the larger flake or just gives a different look when using two sizes of the same color. My junebug has .040 and .015 flake in it. Watermelon red is .040 black and .040 and .015 red flake. It's all personal preference in the end. If YOU like it, fish it! I really doubt the fish put much stock into what size flake were using

Driftwood
Salt will also change the color of your baits.

Bassinfool
I don't put salt in any of my baits and bass eat them just fine. Plus, the plastic without salt doesn't tear up nearly as easily.
