ThomasNozal
Does anyone have the Nightcrawler 4..25 inch mold from Lurecraft? It looks almost exact to a Biffle Bug from Gene Larew. I really like the mold but I don't want to chance it for $140 and end up hating the thing. If you have it, please let me know your thoughts about it and how it compares to a Biffle Bug. elrat69
mold has no rod insert; finished bait will be solid unlike the real biffle bug

DaveMc1
How in the world do they manage to make that bait hollow? With a brass insert that fits in the mold.
ThomasNozal
Thanks for the reply and with it being solid it would prolly be more durable compared to actual biffle bugs im guessing.
MuskyGary
The mold is made by Angling A.I. and carried by Lurecraft.
mark poulson
With a brass insert that fits in the mold. Do they reheat the bait to seal it afterwards, or does the hollow keep enough air trapped even if it's open on one end?
DaveMc1
Do they reheat the bait to seal it afterwards, or does the hollow keep enough air trapped even if it's open on one end? No, it is left open so you can add scent, rattles etc. Edited March 23, 2015 by DaveMc1

FATFLATTIE
I really looked at that bait from AI, just decided to go with something else. That was my main problem with the biffle bug is not being solid caused it to realy tear easily rendering the bait useless. Other than that I loved the action and versatility. The bait from Angling AI is solid, does not have the hollow spot in it.
