mr max
Has anyone have a opinion on the use of cortland endurance or sufix elite for a spinning reel?
Venutian_Lures
The suffix is OK. Not bad, not good, but OK. I had a lot of breakage issues with it at first, but a lot of people like it. I wonder if the line just didn't like me or if I got some lemon spool of it lol. Can't say anything about the Cortland, but for spinning reels my favorite line is Stren. Have used it for years, will never use any other mono. I have High Impact Lo Vis Green 10lb mono-filament from Stren that goes on all of my spinning reels. I've never had a fish break off of this line and for 10lb line it has the strength of Thor himself. Often times if you get your lure hung up, you're either getting the lure back with the tree it's attached to, or you're cutting the line. Bassinfool
Don't use much flouro on my spinning set ups anymore. I do use the BPS Excel mono and have nothing but good things to say about it and highly recommend it. If you're thinking about trying some fluoro, I really like the Seaguar Red label 8 pound test for my spinning applications. Mostly skipping docks with a wacky rig and shakey head fishing. Really sensitive and abrasion resistant.
poundtowne
Suffix Elite and Trilene XT are the two of the best rated monofilaments on the market in regards to strength, durability, and memory. For fluorocarbon Maxima is amazing. For copolymer, YoZuri hybrid.
Braided Line
There is a ton of different line available. Always advancement in quality with the newer stuff. I try new when ever possible. Some I like. Some not so much. For me bulk line works well. Have not tried the ones you listed. Maybe one of these days I will. In fact, I use mostly braided line. Both on spinner and baitcasters. Spider wire.

I only use spinning reels and they all have Trilene XT spooled on them. not a big fan of stren just seems really stiff to me
