fishon-son Posted March 29, 2015 Report Share Posted March 29, 2015 with the melt down coming and the lakes are opening up . id like to get a new mold for walleyes looking for a 3in or 4in mold for river fishing walleyes.. my question is who makes the best one for this style of fishing...I know a grub mold would be easy to do and all might look the same ..but what have you used that would work for me..a ring mold would be good to...we are fishing ohio waters off lk erie...intill Detroit river ice flows stop ..then the boat comes out for the real fun...the ohio water is real muddy so id like to make some real good custom colors for myself and buddys.... PeteZipczech Posted March 29, 2015 Report Share Posted March 29, 2015 fishon, when I fish for the Walleye, I'm fishing them up and down the Mississippi river in the Iowa, Wisconsin, Minnesota area. Recently I've grown rather fond of Do-It's 3.5" Thump Grub and the Ring-It Worm 4.5" both molds shoot very nicely and the baits flat out catch fish. Well, Incant swear it is ALL of them, but anything that looked good at the time. I bought multiples of each for a trip to Canada. We had a large group and I made every color I could think of in every type.
