Venutian_Lures
Ditto. I've ordered a ton of stuff from him. Squarebills, Lipless, Poppers, Walkers, Warts etc. All are good.I give the baits a quick sanding with a blending block I have then wipe down with alcohol to clean them before painting.

BobP
Predator is one of the few sources that has a mold factory make copies from actual popular baits like the original Wiggle Wart. He pays attention to the ballasting and internals as well as the exterior look, which is critical to performance and something that's sadly lacking in many plastic KO's. Due to the differences in plastic composition, shell thickness, etc, you still may not get a perfect copy of a popular original bait but he obviously wants to offer crankbaits that work right, not just look right. And that makes a big difference to end users. I've ordered a few of his recently offered baits and was happy with them. There was a series of posts about his Wiggle Warts that you might check out via the search function.

Venutian_Lures
Can't say anything about Trokar. I use VMC short shank 3x trebles from HooksUsa.com and have never had any issues with them.
mark poulson
Unless you're making heavy swimbaits that give a big fish enough leverage to bend out a hook, or unless you're fishing really gnarly grass/weeds/cover, so you have to horse your fish out quickly, your line will typically break before your hooks open. I usually only have them open when I'm using pliers to pull them out of a fish's hard mouth parts in the net.
