joelhains
I'm moving from Ohio to Ontario. I'm trying to find a plastisol source in Canada. Shipping is bad enough when shipping from the US to the US. I don't even want to think about how much it will cost to ship across the border. Where do you Canadian bait makers get your plastisol from? Is there any place in Canada that sells it? Thanks
DaveMc1
I import it from the US, as do most. I think there is one guy that sells Calhoun up here (don't have any other info on him) but from the prices I've heard its no better than just shipping it over

Tim2199
Just wanted to provide an update. Luremaking.com is now carrying soft plastic and accessories. They are based out of ontario so shipping will be a bit more reasonable for you. I'm over in Alberta, but I might purchase some plastisol from them cuz its still cheaper than getting it shipped from a US supplier. I have ordered some other stuff from them and was happy with their service. You just have to look at their online catalogue. When I ordered in the past I called them directly because I was in a hurry. Hope this helps Tim
curt k
the plastic from plastic world is cheaper http://plasticworld.ca/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=157 I'm not sure how the alumilite plastic is but shipping to BC isn't too bad , so I'll be grabbing 5 gallons soon for torture testing Edited April 7, 2015 by curt k
Tim2199
Cool let us know how it goes. I see that the plastisol from luremaking is phthalate free (the main health hazard in most soft plastics) so I'm sure that accounts for the price difference. It's one of them, but not the main, the main would be the heat stabilizer that you inhale while working with it.
