Doc-Drew
Hey guys a buddy of mine wants me to paint him some lures. He is requesting a color that is found on many name brand lures. It is the white with a blueish hue found on lures such as Megabass/Luck-e-strike french pearl, Strike King Chartreuse Shad, Megabass Sexy Shad, etc. If any of you can help me out with that, it would be greatly appreciated! crab05
Curious about the color also,is it the powder blue?
DingerBaits
Faskolor makes a color like that. I use it. It is called Faschange Blue. Basically a pearl with a blue tint with the angle you hold it it. works pretty well.
Cougarftd
The basic Iridescent is like Dinger said...a blue pearl...In order to get the French pearl effect I use steel blue (like a royal blue pearl) added to the iridescent as I go up the bait al little darker each time...when you get to the back add a little black for the back. Put down some netting and one coat of just the iridescent over the black and you are golden!
