Bubbadoyle
I am new to this site. I just got an airbrush and started painting some jerkbaits. This is my favorite way to fish walleyes in 3 to 7 foot of water. However I would like to paint some deeper diving walleye type crankbaits or trolling. Most blanks I am finding are bass style baits. I am just looking for suggestions on some unpainted blanks that someone has had some success trolling for walleyes with. Thanks.
goolies
Custom painted Rapala DHJ12 are popular for trolling for Walleye on Lake Erie. I think guys get the glass minnow version and paint them.
MuskyGary
Dingerbaits.com has a DCB s7, which is similar to a shad rap #7. I have some painted up, but haven't got to use them yet.

Thanks. This is kind of what I was looking for. I will pick some up when they come back in stock. Any other suggestions from anybody would be greatly appreciated. ravenlures
Why don't you get some balsa and carve your own then you will get hooked like the rest of us.
Bubbadoyle
Why don't you get some balsa and carve your own then you will get hooked like the rest of us. One step at a time. Just got the airbrush and started painting some blanks. Someday I'd like to start making molds and making my own blanks. Not ready for that yet though. I can see the addiction forming already. Only been a couple weeks and I have a bunch of paints and other accessories. Makes you look at everything in a store differently. Wondering how you can use for painting baits.
