Attitude
Hey Guys, I was at the local dealer the other day and was told...by a salesman...that there is absolutely NO difference between a Mercury 90 hp and a Tracker 90 hp (by Mercury). He said the motors are the exact same thing and that the only differnce is a $200 Mercury sticker package. I find this hard to believe...does anyone have any insight? Chip
Yah...Its just a sticker. I argued until I got my Mercury Cowling for the motor. On the resale, I want the motor to say Merc.... not Track.. JMO Chip
Richoc
Yep, packaged deal to move the rigs. Just wait, the four strokers are just there lower ends, till the Verado. If you think $200 was bad. It cost my buddy $400 for the new stickers for his 225 hp optimax. And $160 for new stickers for his kicker 15hp. Guy buying the boat did not like that they were scratched up. And wanted them replaced or no deal. He must have already checked the prices.
