MarkNY
Dont know what your budget is but take a look at the iwata eclipse. you can also find a small, quiet air compressor on amazon for less than $100. I bet you can get a setup for around $200....

BJBarron
I got my iwata eclispe hp cs from hobby lobby its was 140 I think but I used one of there coupons. You can go to shop hobby lobby online and use the coupon too. I got my car compressor from harbor freight it's tankless and is quieter than my refrigerator. It was 79 or 89 dollars. I love the both of them. The brush comes with the .35 needle but I also bought the .5 needle nozzle cap and field cap for the thicker paints from tcp comes as a kit. Hope that helps. Cliff
I have been using the GMC Syclone 6310 compressor for last 3 years. By far one of the best quiet compressors for the money. Comes with built in regulator and moisture trap that work well also. As far as airbrush, the gravity feed Eclipse is great for thicker waterbased paints. I like the Paasche VL's much better for solvent based paints, seals are more compatable. I am spraying all lacquers and auto clears (twitch, twitch) on around 5000 baits a year. All VL's are still ticking and multiple Eclipses in the repair pile. Add the fact that they are one of the more reasonably priced brushes out there and easy to get parts for locally makes it hard to beat for me.
