RayburnGuy
I think Pete (Hazmail) did a tutorial on painting that pattern. Might try doing a search for it. Ben
Pickadoll
Here you have a excellent Nemo pattern painting tutorial on Youtube. Make sure to watch this guys other videos too cause he got some really cool tutorials. He makes a special kind of Nemo pattern. You should just use Orange and yellow.
mark poulson
What kind of paint does he use?
mzee
I think that is Solarfall. Not sure. He has posted here before.
SLT785
It's SolarBaits, I've watched all his YouTube videos on making and painting baits. Can't remember the name but I think it's a European made paint.
mark poulson
It seems to dry on contact. He can handle his baits as he's painting them. I'd love to be able to do that, without leaving fingerprints.
Pickadoll
He is using CAB paints. Full name of the brand is Cab coatings. It is a finish brand and it's NOT water based paints. I am using mostly Createx and Com art paints and I am also holding the lures in my hand (with gloves) while I paint them . Sometimes it gets fucked up but mostly it doesn't.
RayburnGuy
Pickadoll please remember that this is a family orientated website and use language in your responses that is appropriate for both genders of all ages. Ben
Pickadoll
I am from Sweden. That is not like a bad word over here but I do understand what you mean and will respect what you said.

Big Bass Man
I painted one using Mikko's method, a few years ago, and it turned out nice. It's posted in the hardbait gallery.
Travis
CAB usually refers to Cellulose Acetate Butyrate http://www.cabcoatings.fi/ Edited April 15, 2015 by Travis
Pickadoll
Yes that is the right address. Good luck with reading that language . In Sweden you can buy all their different kinds of clear coats but not their colors YET, but CAB is going to expand their company. That is at least what I've heard. mark poulson
Thanks guys. I sure hope they sell in the U.S. That looks like some great paint!
Travis
Google does a good job of translating the page, well enough easy to follow. I use the Google Translate app.
Ichthus
Let me know how this paint reacts with ac1315 and if they have a pearl white! Thanks! For those of you guys considering buying this stuff!
Travis
Maybe it was lost in translation but you guys are wanting a solvent based system? Seams like just ordering the readily available lacquer paints would be easier.
Pickadoll
He once said that CAB is much more easy to paint with compared to water based paints. He is mainly using Envirotex epoxy to clear coat his lures.
mark poulson
I wonder if there are fumes with the CAB paint?
Travis
Yes they are solvent based. Respirator and ventilation will be needed. Edited April 17, 2015 by Travis
