Jaxon2
Wanting to make some multi colored jigs (2 or 3 colors) and was looking for some tips on how to do so. I use fluid beds to put the base color on, but was looking for tips on how to apply the second color. Ive heard about brush tapping the second color on. With this method is there a certain type of brush that works better than others? I tried with a small paint brush I had laying around but it was hardly big enough to drop any powder paint on. Thanks for any help!

Fatman
Cad will get you going!! I learned A LOT about brush tapping and multi colors from him. I've gotten away from Pro-Tec, and use stuff from Columbia Coatings, Rosy's, Powder by the Pound, and it all works just fine. I've mixed them for custom colors and done glitters in them. Cad's tag line on Practice is ABSOLUTELY TRUE!!!!!!!!! Just keep working on it and don't give up. I've got cheap brush's from WalMart and also makeup brush's. Kasilofchrisn
I use a powder paint airbrush from TJ's tackle. Run it at 1/2 psi or so and you are good to go. Works great for me. Look up some of Smalljaws posts on the subject. He is better than I am with the powder paint airbrush but mine still turn out good.
Apdriver
After seeing Smalljaws stuff, I bought TJ's little badger gun also. It works good and am satisfied with my results so far but still learning with it. Chris thanks for posting the PSI you're running at. Haven't really figured out a number yet. Apdriver
I use Columbia Coatings paint also. Pro Tech always seemed pricey to me but I know they have some brilliant colors.
