jonister
This is extremely simple, and works well on those lures you find in trees or pull up from the depths, what you need is some baking soda, and water. So take the dirty or mossy lure and get a little baking soda on your thumb and fingers and rub it onto the lure, really rub it in and all over. wash and vwalla! Just keep doing this until you get it clean. Edited May 11, 2015 by jonister
jonister
I'm a little late on my own topic, but here's some pictures! I found one of these lures in the river, and the other was given to me. The baking soda will seriously clean just about anything, and it also polishes bills nicely. jonister
Let's show this on some seriously green flashers. Found these today and thought I'd update. Another tip, beware the red/black algae and barnacles. Soak those overnight in a dawn dish soap, baking soda, water solution. It softens everything up. A scotch brite pad helps a lot, but the green side will scratch, so unless the lure is going to be sanded and repainte, stick with Tue yellow side and your fingers.
