HighTide71
Does anyone know where to get the round rubber skirt material with sparkle(glitter)? Just like the skirts that snag proof uses on their tournament frogs. Or if anyone knows how to add sparkle to regular round rubber? Thanks in advance! Richoc
Can you post a picture of that? I for one have never seen any thing but silicone with glitter. But I don't get a round too much these days.

Mojo
Does it have to be rubber? They make silicone skirts with glitter/sparkle. If you have a Bass Pro catalog, check page 228 & 229 for skirts. Or go to their website and search for "skirt". You can also check www.northlandtackle.com, www.cabelas.com, or do a www.google.com search for "silicone skirts". I found a bunch of sites from google, the first one, www.staminainc.com looks good! Tm Customs
I think it does have to be rubber becuae sillicone is way to limp. On the frogs you need a bit harder media to keep the legs sticking out insted on just flopping over, the rubber is also a bit more springy which makes it the best choice for this application. Richoc
Hightide, What about trying some glitter spray on the the good old round rubber. Worth a shot I would think.
HighTide71
Glitter spray is a good idea. I was also thinking about mixing some 30 minute epoxy with glitter and brushing it on. I guess I'll have to expirement.
siebler_custom_baits
epoxy is gonna make the strands stiff.
HighTide71
Darn is there any type of pliable glue that would work?
jigmeister
I've never seen this type material for sale in bulk but I think Barlows or Stamina sells something called "Starflash" skirts made from the same stuff. I believe it is really round silicone w/ glitter and not rubber.
Bearpaw
That is round silicone for sure. star flash www.staminainc.com www.barlows.com www.jannsnetcraft.com All of these companies plus more carry these colors bearpaw Some companies like Cabelas call this rubber silicone, Sounds confusing. I went to the web on Cabelas site and saw a kit of living rubber. I thought great, since there is no more living rubber to be sold in common colors anyway. I recieved the order and I got silicone. I was a little let down. I called Cabelas up and someone took a pic of the living rubber kit and not knowing the difference of Rubber and silicone. Needless to say Silicone is what you get, so watch it guys. They said they will correct the photo . lol all the equipment for living rubber is in China now in a box and who knows when or if the round Living rubber is ever going to be availiable again.
