I would like to purchase my balsa from suppliers that are familiar to crankbait making. Also what density of balsa is best for flat side crankbait. I looking into 3/8 and 1/2 thickness of balsa would. I just would like to due business with a company that supports hobby makers and friendly contacts. barr5150 Posted May 24, 2015 Report Share Posted May 24, 2015 (edited) I bought some 3/8" & 1/2" sheets from specialized balsa out of colorado a month ago. I can't say they're the best but I was happy with their service. They nick you a little to hand select medium density but I think that's pretty typical.
