Offshore G
Hi guys, I am a bass fisherman from Cape Town South Africa. I have in the last week decided to start painting cranks for personal use and to keep myself busy during our winter months. Can anyone give me any advice on where to purchase unpainted cranks. I also need the items shipped to RSA via UPS or a similar courier as our postal system cannot be trusted. The sites I have found will only ship via regular snail mail and this is not an option for me. Any help would be greatly appreciated. mark poulson
If you have email, contact Jim Sharphorn at predatorbaits@charter.net His website is predatorbassbaits.com He'll tell you if he can ship to you, and he sells good unpainted cranks. JRammit
Another option, you could carve your own There is a wealth of knowledge and an army of experience on this site to assist you with this option Many here build from scratch for their own reasons even though blanks are readily available to many of them... But if they are difficult to acquire, that's all the more reason!
Offshore G
I appreciate the feedback guys, many thanks. I have been in contact with Jim at Predator Baits and he is finding out about shipping to RSA for me. I have also found out about a company that does transfers. Reef Inmate
Howzit Offshore, you an sign up with Aramex global shopper. You have your orders shipped to them and they deliver to your door. It costs R175.00 for the first half kilo then R99.00 for each half kilo thereafter. If the value is under R500.00 it's not subject to customs and VAT. Offshore G
Howsit boet, I have done just that. I registered with them and I must say I am impressed with their service so far. Pity we can't make use of it for TW orders.....
