Cami
Hi Guys, I was wondering if it is possible, with our DIY tools, to pour the Thermoplastic Elastomer (TPE), i.e. such plastic quite soft, quite flexible, but really elastic used for some "soft" saltwater plastic baits. Did anyone of us try to heat TPE for instsance with a microwave? and, if yes, which kind of TPE did he use? I am really already enjoying myself with Plastisol and its softness, but for some saltwater lures perhaps TPE is better. Looking forward your kind reply. mark poulson
I'm guessing there might be some really nasty fumes. I think you should get a hold of whoever manufactures that stuff, and ask them.
Driftwood
Yes, contact the manufacturer and ask for the MSDS report. This will give you the chemical information and side effects of their product.
