rhahn427
Anybody try it ........ Any opinions
DaBehr
I really like it. Low odor (big thing at my house!), very temperature tolerant (you have to get it REALLY hot to burn it !). Very clear. It is also Phthalate free It seems more elastic..."tougher". Make sure you completely mix it every time you use it! It doesn't hard pack...but it will settle fairly quickly (like a lot of other formulas!). After I mix up the gallon box really well ....I dispense it into a couple pint bottles I have. I just make baits for myself and buddies so I don't go through a gallon at a time...and it's easier to shake and mix the pint bottle when I'm making a round of baits 4oz at a time. Like with any plastic...buy a pint or a gallon... and try it before you invest in a large amount.
Stock's Lures
I like it a lot. You can remelt multiple times before it yellows. Verrrry few bubbles if you mix well, but get some softener when working with salt in it. It toughens up a ton. (Which is sometimes good though)
archery1
i was quoted over 24$ for shipping yesterday to Pa.
Fish N Chips
I just got 2.5 gallons of it and it was 8 dollars flat rate shipping. I have been happy with it so far. Seems low odor and very little smoke. I did split mine up in smaller containers to make it easier to shake up. Seems pretty clear and makes a nice soft and stretchy bait. I have used it for sticks, craws and swimbaits so far.

rixon529
I heard they ship from Iowa. Is that right? Archery1 - was that $24 shipping quote for one gallon? Thanks. Rick
DF1
2.5 gallons or less falls under their flat rate shipping witch is like 8 bucks, 5 gallons or more has to be calculated.

Walking Dead
Mark, Not promoting anything or a site, but if I lived in Cali I would buy this product from TackleWharehouse. An order over $50 shows it at $0.00 to your location.

archery1
I heard they ship from Iowa. Is that right? Archery1 - was that $24 shipping quote for one gallon? Thanks. Rick that was 5 gallons
emptystringer81
One thing I have noticed with the Essential plastic is it bubbles really easy, I didn't have that problem with the MF plastic from bass tackle. It does say on the container that stirring before it gets to 350 degrees will cause bubbles.
Bogbaits
Dont stir it,i never touched mine and no bubbles at all,1200 watt microwave on high also

tonyliller68
How many baits can you make with a gallon?
Walking Dead
I think that question is loaded with way too many variable to answer. What type of bait, size of bait etc will make a difference in the answer. Add salt or not? I can get 12 good 702 craws from about 6 ounces of plastic. That includes the sprue and a little left in the injector. That is just one example.
Senkosam
Ordered a gallon last night. May add softner if plastic is more like salt water plastic.
