Ccfish
Does anyone still make these? Im talking about the skirts you see on humdinger spinnerbaits and rumba dolls. Would like to make these for my spinnerbaits, can anyone explain this process or where to buy the material? I did a search on the internet and can only find the round rubber stuff. smalljaw
Flatline rubber, it is available at a few places but Fishing skirts dot com is probably the best selection an price. That stuff was brought back and made better as it use to come in a roll, now it is easier to work with and still has the same properties as the old stuff. Ccfish
I looked there but they didn't have any white or chartreuse colors. Would that still have to be tied to the head? I would like to make the kind that looks like the tabs are glued to the rubber collar and just slide over the hook onto the head. Is this even possible? gonfishn
You can buy the new flat rubber direct from Rat Trap Bait Co. No website but give Bubba (Robinson) at; 863-967-2148, tell him Venom told you to call. Have used the product and it does everything the "old" did but better. Doesn't weld together in the heat etc.
