Vodkaman
Do you use a recovery system similar to this?I don't do powder painting. I was just looking at the problem from an engineers perspective Dave
Basseducer
You will also need to have a way to heat the jig. Would you want that inside the enclosed booth?
fshng2
I think it makes sense to have the heat source outside but near the enclosure. A well placed table in front of the enclosure (leave at leat 3 feet between enclosure and table) would provide a good work surface for the heat source ,any tools, and all your unfinished/finished jigs. If you use a heat gun inside the enclosure, unwanted flyaway would blow around alot more. The flyaway would melt anywhere there is enough heat and create a mess. For instance on the gun or open flame, in the air, and inside the enclosure. It could even contaminate your recovered material with unwanted melted powder. mark poulson
An AC filter in front of your fan might help cut down on flyaway dust.

FrogAddict
I use foil tape and tape over the eye before heating. After I've dipped, I remove the tape. I know the fish don't care but I like a clean eye.
