Roadkill
Looking for help/ideas on how to make the offset line tie on an old "Shyster" Lure. I can do it with a couple pair of pliers but it's a real pain and does not meet my picky standards. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help. Fatman
Make yourself a hand tool - just a couple of nails and an old wood screw driver handle or really hard wood dowell. You'll still have to make the final wrap around the main shaft with needlenose pliers but this simple little hand tool will help a lot. Put your first nail in put a scrap piece of wire next to it and make sure to leave enough room between the two nails to get the wire in and out.
