Ccfish
I have a tail mold for a brush hog mold. The tail mold is 4 cav and the brush hog is 2 cav. What I have been doing is shooting the tail mold then using those 4 tails in the the brush hog mold. Was wondering if the tails would still stick good if I did a bunch of tails at a time then use them a day or 2 or 3 later in the brush hog mold. It would keep me from having to watch another pot of plastic or allow me to have another color heating up.
toadfrog
You can make up tails ahead of time . Don't put scent or anything on them ,keep them covered or in a container . Do solid colors or something before you shoot the ones with premade tails . This will help the plastic remain hot enough to adhere without leaving a shear line . You may want to just preheat the mold.
