scrubs
I hadn't heard from John since early 2013 so I sent him an email. After a few weeks one of his daughters responded. John passed on early last year. A nicer, more generous guy would be hard to imagine. There's still a lot of his tiny stuff in the gallery. bill
alsworms
Such a shame. I had no clue. Thoughts, prayers, and condolences go out to his family. May he R.I.P.

Travis
Sorry to hear that. I talked with John through via email off an on and meet up with him a few times a some tackle shows. I usually parted with a few cranks he was selling and he was always quick to chuck in a few others. He was definitely a nice guy and we had planned at one time trying to get together and make some cranks and seeing each others methods. scrubs
When we first started emailing I mentioned I wanted to try making some some small trout sized cranks. He sent me three of his completed lures and a bunch of blanks and parts. Wouldn't accept anything for them. Fished the completed ones but now they will be hanging on the wall. bill
HookUp
That's so sad. I have a bunch of his crank baits. He was a true artist.
