toadfrog
Lord have mercy that will take some splain'in right there . Might help if ya got a pic of the bait your trying to achieve . A lot depends on if it's a treble hook or not . Trebles are a pain in the keester . The flair which seems to be bulk is often due to using soft bucktail as opposed to stiffer harder bucktail and will give you a smaller thread wrap for a head . Gonna have to work through your question slow bit by bit cause it is somewhat intricate .
Musky0503
okay I'm making a musky inline spinner on 5/0 treble hooks, The will take in the fact I using .51 wire two #10 blades. I wasn't that thrilled, with my first try under water it seemed to thin out. So I needed more hair I decied. I like the way this one looks under water but the head is obviuosly too big. The head of the lure is the size of a section of my pinky finger. Edited July 16, 2015 by Musky0503
