llPa1nll
I am in the need to restock my supply of weedguard inserts. I was just wondering if anyone has any feedback or experience with these weed guards, before I place an order for some. All responses are greatly appreciated. smalljaw
I like them, the only real difference is they don't have the hair like fibers sticking out the end. It doesn't sound like much but when you are putting weed guards in a bunch of jigs , it becomes a pain to have to trim every weed guard you pick up, they also slide in the hole easier as the edges are a little less jagged. We use a candle and run the end of the weed guard across the flame for less than a second and it take the fuzzies off real well. then dip in the glue etc... cadman
I don't use Boss weedguards, however I see why guys like them. I take the regular weedguards and stick the loose ends into the weedguard hole in the jig. Once dry, I trim the top fused end. This works for me.
