fisheye56
Been playing with shooin cores with these little baits, surprised myself how they came out. Just take a lot of time and patients neither of those do I have! LOL. hope you like them

sticky
Wow that's really cool. How do you get the colors to do that? I've seen some similar baits recently done in that fashion. I'm just a newbie. I make baits for myself and for a few friends. I would love to know how to get those effects in the plastic.

fisheye56
The process is pretty simple, if you have a injection mold. shoot the top of the mold with the desired color, let set up. use some alcohol to wipe( to clean oils and insure bonding), the cooled plastisol then take straight colorant and a tiny bit of stabilizer mix the two together, then add a little dot of it (I use a tooth pick) at the desired location on the bait close the mold and shoot the bottom color. I like clear no colorant with a little pearl glitter in it. it takes practice but that is what that process will do. hope this helped. then add eyes and dip in clear plastisol . hang till set up ...24 hrs to completely cure and done.
sticky
Thanks fisheye. I'll have to try that. I'm hoping to try some new baits I made recently this week at a pond near my house. It's spring fed and pretty clear so the fish are hard to catch but there are some nice crappie in there. I'll give it a try and see if they look as nice as yours
