emptystringer81
Was just wondering what everyone uses to keep their injector working smoothly, I wanted to oil the o rings but not sure what oil is ok to use. I'm a mechanic and I do know that when you add o ring lube it can shrink certain I rings

Ccfish
I always spray worm oil in the injector then use the rod to push a paper towel through it to clean out all the little pieces of plastic left in it.
Bassinjunkie88
I use a tad of WD-40 before I start every time.

Jig Man
I keep a bottle of cooking oil on the work bench top. I dip my plungers in it before I begin and again later if needed. I also use it to coat molds that have been setting around for a while.

Big Ray
I know that this is late and you probably already took the other guys advice. I am going to tell you what I use anyway. Petroleum jelly. When I bought my injector for Baitjunkys that is what the note that came with it said to oil up the o ring with.

camrynekai
Is oiling required by certain injector manufactures? I haven't had any issues with my ultra molds twin injector and it has 1000's of shoots under its belt using 70/30 plastic salt mix. Just curious.
