Bassin Jack
First off hi all. I have been looking to try to make my own worms. I was just curious what should be on my shopping list to get started? What would you guess my start up cost would be? Thanks for the help in advance. woodsac
BJ, Welcome aboard! Before you dive in, read the 'Plastic 101' tutorial in the How-To section. http://www.tackleunderground.com/mx/index.php?page=10&mode=article&k=13 Then do a search under soft plastics for 'start up' and 'beginner'. You'll find some more good advice for colors and supplies.
Tm Customs
Personally I suggest Plaster A Paris you cab buy it at walmart for 5- per. 8lbs, it is easier to work with and cheap so if you mess up no biggie. First go to a thrift store and buy a bunch of containers tuperware and anything else that is the right size. Then lots of super glue so the baits are secured good to the surface so the dont move and kill your molds. Once you make the molds you can coat them in either fiberbglass resin or devcon 2ton epoy or engine spray paint. If you want to make zipper molds you will have to use resin for those.
