andy1976
Anyone ever try using a pressure cooker to get plastic up to temp and keep it there.
Vodkaman
It would not make any difference. The idea of a pressure cooker, is that you raise the boiling point of water so that the water boils at say 230 degrees. This means that the higher temperature cooks the food faster. There is nothing in the plastic to increase the pressure (steam). Dave Edited August 24, 2015 by Vodkaman
andy1976
Nice thanks. Figured there was a reason it hasn't been discussed.

Driftwood
We have used a band heater to heat and keep the plastic hot in a pressure pot. Have also had an agitator placed in the top and a cocktail valve in the bottom to use as an injector for large batches. Not the safest method but it works.
Basseducer
Doesn't Lurecraft have a contraption like that?
