Yo Al
I just checked Jann's and it looks like they only carry the essential series molds. There has been some discussion of them here. Search this forum for "essential". The molds work fine but have a sand textured finish.
mark poulson
I have the 5" senko and the beaver style bug Essential molds, and they both pour great. The fish don't seem to mind the sand finish. Frankly, it's hard to see once they're in the water. I did thicken the connection between the "claws" and the body on the beaver mold by grinding away some of the alum. with a dremel, because I was losing the claws too easily. DaBehr
I have the Senko and the Beaver style ES molds and I prefer the finish on those molds. Looks more realistic to me. And from what I can tell from fishing them....the bass like them too! The Beaver style has been especially good for me this year.
