Yo Al Posted September 4, 2015 Report Share Posted September 4, 2015 I have one and wouldn't buy any other vise. I've had up to a 6/0 heavy flipping hook in it and it will fit bigger. Instead of getting another one, I bought one from a tackle shop on the net (Saltwaters edge) with jaws that hold up to 8/0 hooks. Looks like a Peak to me though. This is a true rotary, of which was a waste of money for me, just need it to rotate. I saw some rotating Apex on Amazon for a really good price, may pull the trigger if they are still there, not that happy with my new vise. The ones on Amazon were rotating, not a true rotary. Darkman Posted September 6, 2015 Report Share Posted September 6, 2015 best hobby level vice on the market, it does every thing you ask from it, I fit 5/0 hook in it and hook all the way down to a #4 worm hook (these are my parameters on getting a vice and Anvil fills that nice) and at that price its a steal , I got mine from BPS but have seen them, just about everywhere...you wont regret your purchase 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
