Walking Dead
Anyone recommend a heavier hook to replace this medium wire hook? Need it to fit the Arky style mold. Thanks.
smalljaw
The problem is the heavier hook won't fit the mold but you can modify it which isn't that hard. The hook you will want is the Mustad 32796, it is the same hook but heavier like a flipping style hook. I prefer the Eagle Claw version which is the 2706BP, these are the black platinum hooks and they are sharper and seem to hold the point better than the Mustad but both will work and both are good hooks. cadman
If you are looking for Gami's, they make a flat eye thicker hook as well. i don't know the number off hand.

Walking Dead
Fixed the issue, bought the TROKAR Arky. Will pour some around the TK 800 and the 32796 I have for the brush jig molds. I will use the 32798 in the shaky jig mold and give the flat eye Arky mold away to a beginner.
