Popular Post jrhopkins
was having trouble finding the size of mesh for my smaller baits and it occurred to me to try the tissue printing technique for scales. googled fish scale patterns, found the size I wanted, printed on the tissue paper and glued it to the bait. turned out good. will have to see how it looks once I finish the paint job ( perch).
jwfflipper
Looks great!! Never tried that method always afraid the tissue paper would roll up in the printer!! Jeff
jrhopkins
you have to tape it to regular paper to make it feed right. check printing on tissue paper on Youtube.

ravenlures
Does anyone use tissue for their logos. Just wondering how it looks and does it show the edge.
jrhopkins
ok, finished the bait and put it in the gallery ( don't want to get in trouble for posting bait pictures ) turned out ok but I think I need to tone down the scale a little. Travis
ok, finished the bait and put it in the gallery ( don't want to get in trouble for posting bait pictures ) turned out ok but I think I need to tone down the scale a little. Definitely should be posted in the thread. Turned out pretty good and looks clean. I had a lot of scale patterns printed out on lens paper but never actually tried it. Vodkaman
I agree with Travis; This thread is about the scale pattern method that you shared. The result should be posted in THIS thread. Dave
SW Lures
Very good job! Being somewhat new here at TU I should be quiet I guess, but it's not my style. If you bring up a new idea and share it, the end results go with it. Just like a book. If you didn't share the end result here we would be trying to find it in the gallery. You are not advertising. Although I do like looking through the gallery tho. Great idea! Dale
JBlaze
I think that turned out very well, thanks for sharing. John
RayburnGuy
Looks good John. If you want to tone down the scale pattern, and have a photo editing program, you can adjust the opacity of the scale pattern. If you don't have a photo editing program just PM me and I will be more than happy to do it for you. Ben
