Leeder Posted October 18, 2015 Report Share Posted October 18, 2015 (edited) Hoping someone can help me.I make a lot of jigheads for use on my boat and kayak, I made my own molds from heat resistant RTV silicone (although I want to upgrade these with custom made aluminium molds asap) and have saved myself a lot of money pouring my own.I use Eagleclaw 570H (heavy duty 90 degree bend jig hooks) in my molds and they work really well for me. The problem is I only have one supplier here in the UK and they will only sell in small quantities which makes it much more expensive than I would like.I have searched various retailers and the Eagleclaw site itself and can find these hooks for much cheaper shipped from the US, but only up to 4/0 size. I actually use 4/0, 6/0, 7/0 and 9/0 for my jigheads.No matter how hard I search, I can't find these bigger sizes listed anywhere, but the UK retailer assures me the ones he sells me are definitely Eagleclaw 570H (the 3 bigger ones are listed as 570HBP and are black rather than bronze).Has anyone got any idea where I may be able to source these larger jig hooks in bigger quantities?Many thanks in advance for any help you can give me.
