HuntNFish2324
I am new to making soft plastics and I am stuck at a crossroad. Which is better to use, glass Pyrex measuring cups or Norpro measuring cups? Thanks- Jake
Jig Man
That is a personal decision. I have both and like the Nor Por better.
HuntNFish2324
Thanks Jig Man. Are the Norpro cups easy to use? I plan on using a twinjector too
taylor1595
I bought some norpro and for some reason I get tons of bubbles when I tried heating in them. Can use the same plastic with Pyrex and no issues. Anyone else ever had that problem?
Jig Man
I find them easier to use than the Pyrex, but that's just me. I don't know anything about a twinjector. I believe Frank has some videos using them. I don't get lots of bubbles but I heat by short bursts and do a lot of stirring.
MonteSS
Norpor. But you must be careful. Get a size bigger than you need. Never fill more than half full. ALWAYS grab with a glove. They are squishy and can overflow when you squeeze them.

Big Ray
I like them both. I use my Norpro cups for handpouring. They seem to keep the plastic hot longer and you can squeeze them to make it easier to pour. I still use my pyrex cups when I use my Twin injector because the Norpro cups seem to be kind of tall. They seem to block the twin injector so you need a lot of plastic in the cups to make it work. My small Pyrex cups don't give me that problem. Travis
I found the Norpor to excel at holding spoons, pencils, and other miscellaneous lure making stuff but that was about all it excelled at in my opinion.
