bribass
Hey Y'all! Looking for some help maybe we make a lot of baits and at times need help getting them bagged so I can make more baits. just want to maybe bounce some ideas off everyone. Have you found a good way to find people to help you bag and compensate them for it? Its hard because its on an as need basis its not a guaranteed " job" . Just when we have a lot of bait needing bagged them we need more help type of thing. Were getting ready to bulk up for next year so gunna need the help soon Any ideas of help would be great! thank you! Brian
Basseducer
Get the kids and or grand kids involved and bust their allowance. High school or college kids wanting a little extra spending cash for the summer.
Vodkaman
I was thinking along the same lines as Basseducer, working with high school kids, but not sure of the legalities over there. If it was allowed, it would be just a matter of collecting several phone numbers for when you have the work. Dave
alsworms
Yup....you guys are right on track. First off, if bagging baits is a concern, that's a nice problem to have. LOL I never had that problem, but if I did, I imagine my kids (and all the neighborhood kids, for that matter) would have been more than happy to help if a few bucks were involved. FATFLATTIE
Bagging is important though to the average customer. You don't wanna have stuff just jammed in there any which way. Not only does it look like crap but it'll warp the shape of the bait and not allow for it to perform like it's supposed to. I dunno that's a toughy. Like alsworms said, I don't have to worry about it no more than I sell so it is a good problem to have!
Driftwood
We paid a high school girl 10 cents per bag and she bagged them while she watched t.v. we would drop off several boxes of baits and showed her how we wanted them packed. She did a great job and was real fast, to bad she went off to college .

I was VERY picky about how I wanted my baits packaged, which is why I did it myself. I know there were times when I had a good few hours of bagging, but never really thought much about it. Just figured it comes with the territory.
