Apdriver
So, your getting partial pours. Heat your mold up first by laying it on your pot while your lead is heating. You can take a propane torch to it, also. I do this a lot. Increase your pure lead content. Couple of other things but give those a try first. DaBehr
I found that heating my hooks has helped. I just heat them to "warm"
smalljaw
You got good advice as always but I'll add my 2 cents. I don't know what you're using but when I see the look of that head all I thought was that you will not get it to pour well with junk lead, it will need to be close to pure or the mold will have to be very hot. So make sure you mold is hot like Apdriver has mentioned, and use pure lead if you aren't already.
Vodkaman
After trying all the above, get hold of a tin of plumber's flux. Heat the hook and dip it in the flux. The idea is that this wets the surface of the hook metal and allows the lead to contact. This essentially makes more room for the lead to flow. I use this method when I am pouring ballast weights around stainless steel twisted eyes. Dave
Jig Man
When I have a mold that won't pour I spray it with Frankfort Arsenal Drop Out spray.
