Pop
I am looking for a weedless bass jig that will sit up on the bottom. I want sizes 1/8, 1/4, 3/8 and 1/2 oz. I believe do-it at one time made such a mold but I can't find it any longer in their catalog. They currently have one mold but the sizes are 5/16. 7/16. and 9/16 and I'm not happy with the shape. Does anyone know what jig I am talking about and any ideas how to acquire one? Thanks, Pop

Jig Man
The football jig seems to stand up most of the time. I have gone to it for bottom fishing over any of my other jig types. I get it hung up less and it comes loose more often after being hung than my other styles.

Celticav
Pop, try Jerry at O'Donnell's Sports Supplies phone number 724-368-3418 and he should be able to put you on the trail of one. My catalog has the stand up weedless listed in 1/8s, 1/4s, and 3/8s...model no SUB-3-AY. Are these the ones you meant?? I like the standups too, I am currently trying to get the tip-up jig working with wire weedgaurd and ewg hook added in...JIM
Pop
No Jim that is not the mold I am talking about. What I am talking about is similar to the Flipping Jig FLIP-3-AY or the Bass Jig BASS-3-AY. The only difference is the bottom is a little flatter, just flat enough that the jig sits without falling over. The first place I saw the jig was at a tackle shop called the Wacky Worm, then I watched a video by "Professional Bass Fisherman Andy Vallombroso". On the video he says what a good bass jig it is, and how to make it showing the mold and it is quite plain it is a Do-It mold with its orange handle and he pushed Do-It molds all during the video with Do-It advertisements all over the video container. During the video he doesn't mention one time what the name or model is of the mold and you can't tell from the video what mold it is. All you can tell is that it has four cavities. I called Do-It but the two woman I spoke with could not help me as they searched the computer and found nothing of what I was talking about. I offered to send them one of the jigs from the store (I purchased a few) but they said it wouldn't help I then offered to send the video but they said that wouldn't help either. Somebody at Do-It should know what is going on? If I knew how to put a picture on this site I would try to take a picture so you could see what I am talking about. I will give the fellow a call that you recommended, maybe he will know. Thanks for your help, Pop Buy the way, the fellow who made the video sells what he calls "Nature Jigs", if anyone knows of him and how to get in touch with him, that would be a great help. Richoc
If it stands up it is the JKS-3-AY 5/16 7/16 9/16 This is my leading bet. or ARK-3-AY Idem # 3064 pg. 23 in the doit catalog 1/4 3/8 1/2 in this mold. or if wider JKS-1090Y pg. 22 1/4 3/8 1/2 5/8 But with out one in my hand I am not 100% sure. pg.22-23 that is where you will find it.
