CB2011
I just purchased a senko mold with a gallon of plastic, some green pumpkin color, softener, salt and 2 different glitters to start making my own baits. I'm pretty sure I have it down as I've watched a few videos but I think I'm still unclear on how much green pumpkin to add to 1 cup of plastic to get a good green pumpkin color. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
JRammit
Depends on the brand of colorant, some are stronger than others Fool proof way, is to heat the plastic first, til it becomes clear... Then you can add your color til you like it It will look darker in the cup than it does on the bait... So i always pour one bait and judge off it... If its not right, throw it back in the cup and remelt it, then add more color
JRammit
Also easier to judge how much glitter if you add it before the color
CB2011
It's lure craft green pumpkin so that's what I'll do. It will be my first time so I expect it to take a couple trial runs
MonteSS
Try 20-40 drops per cup will be fine
Skimpy
Remember that when you need more colorant when adding salt
