Fishermanbt
got a swing jig mold for Christmas and poured several so far. I was having trouble trying to figure out how i was going to get them painted so I got to experimenting with different methods. I wanted to share what I found that works consistently. I used my smooth jaws hemostats to grip the top portion of the jig eye. I then place a small barrel shaped super strong magnet on the handle and stretch out the hook and stick it on the magnet. Heat, dip in fluid bed, release the hemostat form the eye over the heat source and the eye is taken care of. I occasionally get minor paint near the hook but that is very little and can be scraped off the wire once cool. Hope this helps someone out. Jig Man
I liked your pic so I hunted around and found a magnet. It holds like a charm. Those pesky swing jigs have been a problem to paint. Now I believe it will be a lot easier. Thanks for the tip.

LimpNoodle
I heat the jigs in a frying pan, grab the hook with pliers and then paint.
