rynesgto
Does anyone have this recipe? I understand it has orange an black flake, but the actual color of the bait is not the green watermelon as the other watermelon baits by zoom. It's more of a yellow. I don't know how to post a picture, but a quick Google search will help you out. Thanks

rynesgto
I was thinking maybe a couple drops of yellow, but not sure about what to add to it. I'm stumped

JRammit
Just looks like really lite watermelon to me... The orange (or copper) glitter looks prety fine.... I use fine glitter (.008), seems to me it gives the bait a "skin color" (only word i can think to describe it) Maybe that's why the thickest part of the zoom (where the most glitter is) appears yellowish, but the thinner parts (less glitter) just look like lite watermelon
rynesgto
Would a copper hi lite help me at all? You guys keep saying regular watermelon, but the watermelon I have is bears, and it seems really green compared to this. Who's watermelon is similar? JRammit
I use Spike-it... If i don't add enough, it kinda looks like the picture (minus the glitter)
emptystringer81
I also have the watermelon spike-it color it looks really good. The one I have is Lure works brand made by spike-it.
ipt
i'd do a little watermelon and add chartreuse or yellow to it. the glitter is probably .015 orange and .035 black

DaveMc1
It's probably their regular watermelon colour, the orange flake will change the way it looks. I just made Greenpumpkin, Greenpumpkin Copper and Greenpumpkin red, All used the same green pumpkin formula and yet they all looked like completely different colours
mark poulson
One of the reasons I use Bait Junky's flake is that it will not bleed, and change the plastisol's color.
Bassinfool
The flake doesn't necessarily bleed but it does reflect light differently depending on the amount used, what color it is, what color the plastic is, etc.
