JRammit
Actually, sharing is what the site is all about Best plastic to use? This is purely opinion... The question has been asked before with several different answers Best place to buy is the place you can fill all your needs.. Shipping isnt free, so find a supplier you can order everything you need from rather than ordering from several different sites Grade?.... I guess you mean soft/med/hard... Depends on your needs... I like the soft formula... More action and better hook sets.... Some will argue about durability, but when the fish tear em up, i get to make more! roberdober
Hey guys. I'm just like Wannabe. New to this myself. Dabbled a little pouring lead now going to try plastics. Trying to get comfortable with suppliers. Who else besides baitjunkies, doit, lurecraft, m-f is out there for plastics. Kind of budget restricted so i want to make my experience a positive one. Vodkaman
Bob - I agree. I too was a tad nervous that the new ownership was going to distort and bias the content towards the owners products, but it HAS NOT. In fact, if you did not know who the owners were, you could not tell. TU is at least as good as it ever was. Dave
roberdober
Interesting.... That is why I registered on this site because it appeared to be a non bias.
mc37
i'm a newbie as well, trying to properly vent my third home made rtv silicone mold is proving much harder than i thought. I have a large sincle cavity, two-piece mold that i have been injecting about 8oz of plastic into. I have 3 vents in the top, thinking of adding a fourth. any tips or tricks to making sure no air pockets are left inside the mold cavity? Vodkaman
MC37 - I suggest that you start a new thread with your problem and post a pic of the mold and a pic of the pour to show the problem. I am sure a solution will be forthcoming. Dave
