bribass
Hey Guys Quick question here.. so I'm noticing that my purple seems to be bleeding off a little and changing the color of my baits from the start to the end of a batch. and I know i know.. don't get too hot but I cook it up and then drop it down to 310-315 then add glitter and never let it get hotter than that. But what Im noticing is that colors I use with large purple glitter look great at first and then get a "dirty" look to them where it seems like the purple is effecting them or bleeding a little to change the color. for example: watermelon candy or i make a smoke with purple glitter. Question is, I know all the suppliers have high heat resistant glitter but have you found any to be better than others? Thank you! Walking Dead
I am not getting any bleeding. I do get some rolling when I multi heat but just dash fresh in before I shoot. This only happens when microwaving. No issues in the presto pot. I use BaitJunky's.
archery1
Purple glitter is a mo fo .If your heating in micro keep temps low and heat short burst at a time. make sure u stir plastic and get a infrared therm. to watch temps. Some manufactures are better than others but purple is just a pain. I remember the first purple glitter that i used turned redish real quick during re heats . Might want to try the grape glitter? FATFLATTIE
The stuff I got from Do-It doesnt seem to bleed. The stuff I got from lure craft bleeds when over heated.

DaveMc1
Order Grape instead of purple if that is an option. If a company has a purple that doesn't bleed then odds are its the grape that most sell.
