Fish_N_Fool
So a week and a half ago or so I asked about airbrushing and what to look for. I ended up getting the Master 1/5 hp compressor with regulator and gravity feed airbrush, I got that for 79 bucks and free shipping and so far very pleased with it. I just got a few paints to start with to do firetiger patterns. Here is my first lure I painted with my new airbrush. Its a 9" Sebile type swimbait. I think it turned out great. My green didn't turn out to be a dark enough color but overall I'm very happy with it Edited February 27, 2016 by Fish_N_Fool

AZ Fisher
That looks great FnF! Now the best part is catching a nice one on a lure you painted! Watch out, it is addicting. I started with a Master set off Amazon also and it wasn't long before the compressor starts overheating and shutting off. I now use a Harbor Freight pancake compressor, I work in the house in my tackle room and it's crazy loud! I'll find a nice one one of these days. I also found that when I stepped up to an Iwata brush my quality when up as well as ease of working with the brush, ie cleaning and adjustments and stuff. There are some good how to vids on Youtube on stencil making, that's your next step! My suggestion would be to start with some cheaper baits rather that a $10 Magic Swimmer, you got BIG CAJONES my friend!!!!!! Great looking bait for your first time out, look forward to seeing more, great job!!
mark poulson
Nice job! You are already very accomplished. I don't think this forum is for photos of our work, unless they are to illustrate a problem or offer a solution, so, next time, post your picture in the Hard Baits Gallery, and just add a link to it here.
