raywillett
just curious if I should be adding scent to plastic when I am cooking? If so what kind is best. I used to do it , but got away from it. I currently just spray the inside of my bags with bang scent when bagging. thanks
Walking Dead
I place all the baits in a storage container after they have cured in the open air. I then put the scent on the baits in the container and let it sit for a few days. I then remove the baits, as needed, to bag and if need be, put a small drop of scent in the bag.

alsworms
Once again, I think this is a personal preference thing, but I was a firm believer in cooking with the scent in them. We have done several tests on our river and baits with scent cooked in always won. If you do decide to cook it in, just make sure you are not using water based scents. Nice little explosion if you do!
raywillett
thanks! Has anyone used bait junkies sent or upper hand?
FATFLATTIE
I have used the upper hand coffee shad and I really like it. I liked the coffee scent before and it's just what I have confidence in. Plus I absolutely hate baits that smell like garlic. Coffee is way easier on my nostrils haha!
alsworms
I used Upper Hand's Hawg & Anise and their Bass Sauce. Had great luck with both. Also used Pro Cure, which is dynamite stuff as well.
Driftwood
Cooked in has always produced better for our baits.
camrynekai
I prefer to cook my scent in. I add my scent right into my 5 gallon containers as soon as I receive them from my supplier.

FATFLATTIE
Coffee shad doesn't have a bad smell at all. At least not in my opinion. It can get sticky if you over do it with the scent. I get it from Do-It.

Upper Hand Scent ...... http://www.upperhandscent.com/ As for the coffee scent, it's not nearly as bad as you might think. In fact, it actually goes well with a cup of coffee. lol
fishon-son
bang works great for me..just spray it on or in the bag......but, i have found that bears garlic scent is 100 times more stronger and just a few drops in and look out.....wow its really strong....you wont use that stuff in the house twice.....the garllic scent works great for me on tubes and craws for muddy or dirty water...
